Well, that escalated quickly, didn't it? Chasing 143, the Bohemians started well with Zahid and Grover coming out with all guns blazing. They almost matched Brno for the powerplay score and looked like they had luck in their way too as Grover got dropped in the third over too. Brno were too short, and the ball was sitting up perfectly.
Shayan Khan changed everything by taking two wickets in the fourth over with some serious pace and stump-to-stump bowling. Riaz was brought back for the fifth over and his maiden-wicket, including Worndl's dismissal, sucked the life out of the chase. Shayan then landed the killer blow with another double-wicket over, getting out Grover and Iqbal cheaply.
Naveed picked three wickets in one over as the batters tried to force the pace in a losing cause and Ramarao and Javed's runout did the rest. Brno have a lot of momentum behind them and should be a force to reckon with in the finals.
9.5 Satyajit Sengupta to Waseem Sardar, slow length delivery bowled outside the tramline, the keeper also fails to collect and the batters try to sneak an extra run. However, the ball deflects to the short fine-leg fielder who fires a direct-hit at the striker's end to bring an end to this innings. So, Brno make it to the final with a 64-run win!
