It was an exhilarating run chase as early wickets almost took the Zalmi home! Mecit Ozturk bowled extremely well to follow up his impressive batting effort. Only two bowlers went for more than 6.00 RPO to keep things as tight as possible. But, the Gladiators were always up with the asking rate and got the job done, all be it off the last ball of the game!

Important contributions from Sadun Perera, Imran Haider and skipper Cosmin Zavoiu helped their side get over the line. The last over did not see any boundary scored but some nervous fielding from the Zalmi gave away the edge to the opposition.

But, in the end, it all came down to the runs put on the board. Bucharest Zalmi needed at least ten more runs to defend.

So, with this win, Bucharest Gladiators pick up their 5th win while the Zalmi are still on 4 wins.
