MATCH OVER!
Budapest Blinders won by six wickets!
United Csalad Budapest 69/7 (10) Budapest Blinders 70/4 (7.1)
A superb performance for Budapest Blinders from start to finish as they beat United Csalad Budapest by six wickets to reach the final. The bowlers did the job early on by restricting UCB to just 69/7. The aggressive Abbas Ghani broke the back of the chase in the Powerplay as the Blinders made 34 runs off the first three overs. There was a slight collapse after that as Steffan Gooch holed out in the deep off Saurabh Mehta's bowling. In the fifth over, Ashrith Darapureddy got Abbas and Danyal Akbar off back-to-back deliveries to delay the inevitable.
However, the duo of Asanka Weligamage and Maanav Nayak stabilized the innings once again although the latter fell just on the verge of the victory. In the end, the skipper Ali Farasat struck a boundary to finish the game with 17 balls to spare!
7.1 Himanshu Tyagi to Ali Farasat, BLINDERS GET TO THE FINAL IN STYLE! Short of a length and angling down leg, Farasat whips it through fine-leg for a boundary. Blinders seal a six-wicket victory!
