A bit of anti climax there in the end as Soman couldn't reach his fifty but this has been a comprehensive win for the Warriors. They've bounced back superbly from the loss in the previous game and have handed a crushing defeat to the Blasters here as they've clinched this contest with 10 wicktets in hand. They're still in with a shot to make it to the finals day.
The openers, Dianish and Soman were superb and they attacked right from the word go. The pair went berserk in the powerplay and they got to 48 runs from the first three overs, thereby ending any chances that the Blasters might have had of making a comeback in the game. The big overs continued as the duo used the long handle and romped home comfortably in the end.
The Blasters bowlers never really had enough runs on the board but they would have expected to put up some fight against the Warriors, a team who have been at the bottom of the table. The dropped chances in the field didn't help their cause either as the openers kept cashing in. After the powerplay, the ball hardly touched the grass and they were left clueless in the process.
6.3 Mukesh Mukesh to Ajin Soman, SIX! That's game set and match. The Msida Warriors have won by 10 wickets. On a length angling down leg, swung away over the deep square leg fence. Again a massive six to end the match.
6.2 Mukesh Mukesh to Ajin Soman, SIXX! Goodness oh me, that has to be one of the biggest sixes ever in this competition. That was a length delivery around the middle, an incredible swipe across the line and clears the deep midwicket fence.
6.1 Mukesh Mukesh to Rocky Dianish, goes for the ramp and ends up getting an inside edge onto his pads, a single taken.
It's just a formaliy now for the Warriors as they're only six runs away from a win here. Dianish has already got to his fifty here and Soman might try his luck too.

5.6 Guarav Maithani to Ajin Soman, Dropped! Fuller-length a shade outside off, Soman swings hard and gets an outside edge which has been spilled by the short third man fielder.
5.5 Guarav Maithani to Rocky Dianish, swings away the length delivery around middle towards deep midwicket for a single.
5.4 Guarav Maithani to Rocky Dianish, FOUR! That was a good-length delivery well wide outside off, Dianish gets his front leg across and paddles it away towards the deep square leg region and finds the boundary again.
