So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Soumarya Dutta. Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda as there are a lot more cricket matches coming up. There is the all-important ICC Women's T20 World Cup semi-final between India and Australia starting at 6.30 PM IST while there is also an exciting PSL fixture between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. Apart from these games, the ECS fixtures will also continue. Until next time, adios!
Oh! Confusing scenes here as the umpires are not sure about the score. But eventually, Basil George smashes his seventh six and reaches his fifty as Southern Crusaders thrash Bugibba Blasters by ten wickets with five overs to spare. It did seem like Amar Sharma's 49-run knock took Bugibba Blasters to a competitive total of 78/7. However, the Southern Crusaders opening duo of Basil and Eardley Chandiram made short work of the chase.
Basil, in particular, didn't let any of the bowlers go unscathed as he smashed three fours and seven sixes on his way to a 19-ball fifty. The Blasters' bowling was also wayward while Basil was also given a life in the Powerplay. All in all, nothing went right for the Blasters as they lost with five overs to spare.

4.4 Partha Das to Basil George, Good comeback! Wraps him on the pads but the impact is outside the off stump. Umpire has no hesitation in turning it down.
4.3 Partha Das to Basil George, SIX! Goes full and George went for the slog sweep and it's a MAXIMO! He is just one hit away from his fifty now.
