That's all from the duo of Maanas and Abhishek. Do join us tomorrow as the US T10 Masters action continue.
Aaron Finch (California Knights captain): The momentum shift was going on throughout. Irfan was unbelievable as well as our batters. I knew that Irfan can keep his calm cool. In T20 cricket, he does not have as many skills but he can keep his head cool. The wickets are getting slower and lower as the tournament gets going. Credit to the groundstaff but if you can post a decent score you can win the match.
Irfan Pathan (Man of the Match): It kind of time you need to keep things very simple. If you hit for runs, it is well and simple. I just wanted to hold my nerves. Bowl it back of lengths and slower ones and it worked. As far as the team is concerned, Nurse the way he stopped the six, it was great. It is about small margins. Kallis hitting two sixes in the last over. Bishoo and Laughlin getting his job. You have to do something very special despite going for runs to help your team.
Robin Uthappa (Atlanta Riders skipper): We certainly could've batted better. We got off to a good start but slowed down in the middle. We bowled well. We've been doing a lot of things right but it's a tough loss for us. We try not to think too much about the game. You take the victories and losses in your stride and come back fresh next day. We have one game, we have to get a win and hopefully we can squeeze into the top four.
California Knights win by 5 runs!
Lendl Simmons - 37 (21) | Peter Siddle - 2/15 Hamilton Masakadza - 20 (11) | Irfan Pathan - 1/13
Irfan Pathan's last over helps California Knights claim the win. However, Atlanta Riders will feel that they played too slowly with the bat, especially, Dwayne Smith who scored only 9 off 20 balls. The target of 95 was very chasable but the Riders lost the grip on their horses.
Robin Uthappa started the innings nicely with two flashy boundaries and one maximum. Lendl Simmons followed up with a score of 37 off 21 balls. But, Dwayne Smith's slow innings derailed the momentum from the other end. It looked like it was their plan to keep Smith not out as he continued to swing and miss.
With the ball, Devendra Bishoo, Peter Siddle, and Irfan Pathan kept their economy under 8 an over. While defending a total under 100 in T10 cricket, that is crucial.

9.6 Irfan Pathan to Dwayne Smith, length ball outside off bowled slower, Smith has a big heave at it but fails to make any connection. The Knights have done it! Irfan Pathan you beauty! Defended 9 runs in the last over and comfortably so in the end! He's stepped up when his team needed him the most!
9.5 Irfan Pathan to Hammad Azam, OUT! RUN OUT! Length ball outside off bowled slower, Hammad shuffles across and looks to drive it away. Misses as Smith is already halfway down the track for a single. Is too late to get going as he was busy appealing for the wide. The keeper lobs the ball to the bowler, who whips off the bails!
Hammad Azam run out (Irfan Pathan) 0 (1b, 0x4s, 0x6s)
Hammad Azam comes out to bat next.
9.4 Irfan Pathan to Hamilton Masakadza, OUT! CAUGHT! Full and on the middle stump line, Hamilton swings for the fences but ends up hocking it straight into the hands of the fielder at deep mid-wicket!
Hamilton Masakadza c Ashley Nurse b Irfan Pathan 20 (11b, 2x4s, 1x6s)
