That's all from us then! This is Soumarya Dutta, signing off on behalf of my partner Arya Sekhar Chakraborty. See you soon!
Mashrafe Mortaza, Sylhet Strikers Captain - In tournament like this, you keep having ups and downs. The batters did remarkably well today. Mushfiqur batted with a lot of responsibility. Burl was outstanding too and Shanto has been very consistent throughout the season. Would like to thank the Sylhet supporters for the way in which they have come out in large numbers and backed us.
Shuvagata Hom (Chattogram Challengers skipper): Disappointed with the loss again. The wicket was great and the start was brilliant. In the middle overs, we lost some wickets but 175 was a fighting score but our fielding was below par. We have a few games left and we will try and perform as per the plans and get some wins under our belt.
Sylhet Strikers win by 7 wickets with 2 overs to spare!
Sylhet Strikers 177/3 in 18 overs Najmul Hossain Shanto 60(44) | Vijaykanth Viyaskanth 2/27 Mushfiqur Rahim 41(25) | Mohammad Nihaduzzaman 1/38
What an emphatic win for the Sylhet Strikers! They have got back to winning ways and it's been a comprehensive batting performance from them. 174 wasn't going to be an easy chase but they went all guns blazing from the start courtesy a brilliant opening stand between Shanto and Towhid. The former continued with his brilliant form in the tournament and set the foundation for the chase with a magnificent 60. Once the openers were gone, they found themselves in a bit of trouble but Ryan Burl launched an incredible onslaught on the spinners, especially Nihaduzzaman to snatch the game away from the Challengers. In the end Mushfiqur Rahim played a composed knock of 41 not out and he was given good company by Zakir Hasan who remained unbeaten on 12. Together the pair got them over the line with 2 overs to spare.
The Chittagong bowlers were disappointing to say the least! They could hardly make any impact and the fielding lapses made life harder for them. Sri Lankan leggie Viyaskanth was the only one who looked threatening as he picked up two wickets. Mohammad Nihaduzzaman had an off day as Burl tore into him and grabbed the game by the scruff of it's neck in his second over.
Overall, a great win for the Sylhet Strikers and their campaign is back on track again. They can take plenty of positives from this game going forward in the tournament. The Chattogram Challengers have been poor once again and they will really have to get their act together and win some games from here on if they're to progress further in the tournament.

17.6 Mehedi Hasan Rana to Zakir Hasan, FOUR! That's game set and match. Back of a length slower delivery outside off, Zakir Hasan waits for it and carves it away past the point fielder and the man in the deep had no chance whatsoever.
17.5 Mehedi Hasan Rana to Zakir Hasan, SIX! Full toss on the leg stump and that has been laced over the deep fine leg fence for a maximum. A gentle full toss angling down, could be over the waits and that has been no nonchalantly whipped away from his presence. He was a bit bend there and it will be regular delivery.
17.4 Mehedi Hasan Rana to Mushfiqur Rahim, that was a short delivery from Rana, Rahim goes for the pull and Campher with a valiant dive but it falls short of Campher and Rahim rotates the strike.
17.3 Mehedi Hasan Rana to Zakir Hasan, slower delivery on a length a shade outside off, Zakir Hasan glides that past the backward point fielder and rotates the strike.
