That turned out to be a pretty convincing bowling effort by Cluj as they managed to restrict the Bucharest Gladiators to just 99 in their allotted 10 overs. Tehzeeb Ul Hassan and Manmeet Koli started off very well with a good partnership. Koli and Dushantha struck some impressive shots to begin with and the stage was set for them to chase this down.
None of the batters could convert it into a big one as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. It was Waqas Ahmed who turned the match with his blistering hitting and igniting the hopes of Bucharest to chase this down. In the end, it was some exceptional death overs bowling which prevented them from going big as Cluj eventually registered a 20 run win.
