Notts Outlaws won by 3 wickets Alex Hales 35(30) | Haider Ali 42(37) Jake Ball 2-23(4) | George Scrimshaw 3-16(4)
GAME.SET.MATCH. There is always one winner in this contest since the start. The Notts were so clinical with the ball to restrict the opposition to a below-par total and that set things up for a great run chase. Clark was going all guns blazing and gave his team a flying start but he couldn't convert his innings into a big knock
Soon after, there was a slip up as the Notts lost three wickets in quick succession but the rebuilding was done instantly by Hales and Patel. Their partnership put the visitors in the driving seat and things went smooth sailing for them from there on. Scrimshaw's spell gave the Falcons an outside chance to emerge victorious but the little contribution from the lower-order batters helped the Notts to secure a win with ease eventually
18.5 Zaman Khan to Calvin Harrison, what a sad way for the game to end. Zaman oversteps and that's the game. Fuller outside off, Harrison makes some space and tries to smash that over covers, gets beaten but the no ball seals the deal.
Calvin Harrison, RHB, walks in at no.9
18.4 Zaman Khan to Shaheen Shah Afridi, WICKET! Shaheen trying to finish it off in style but Zaman had other ideas. Banged in short by Zaman and he was cramped for room. Couldn't quite get his hands through the ball, ends up getting a top edge which has been safely pouched by the mid-off fielder running in from the circle.
18.3 Zaman Khan to Tom Moores, yorker-length delivery a shade outside off, Moores gets it towards the mid-on region, from the inside half of the bat and a single taken.
18.2 Zaman Khan to Shaheen Shah Afridi, that was a low full toss angling into Shaheen. Was an attempted yorker but Shaheen will steal a leg bye single.
18.1 Zaman Khan to Shaheen Afridi, SIX! The smiles will be on the face of Shaheen Shah Afridi. That's a great strike from Shaheen. Zaman missing his mark not by much. Around off stump and that has been swung away, makes good contact and clears the deep square leg fence.
An all-Pakistani battle coming up. Afridi is having a smile at Zaman
A left-arm spinner against two lefties is not always a good match up. It looked like Watt was bowling with control until he landed one in the slot
