It's Varun Prasath who has finished off proceedings here in the shortened final and the Zalmi have clinched the final by 8 wickets. It was a Zeeshan Khan show and the Knights had no answer. Spare of thought for them as they've lost their fourth final now.
The Zalmi did loose a wicket in the very first over and Mehboob had to depart. Zeeshan Khan went berserk after that and killed the game in the second over itself as he got 32 runs from it. There was no looking back from there for the Zalmi as they romped home comfortably in the end.
Babu and Matthew picked up a wicket each but it was the Justin Shaju over that knocked the Knights out of the final. He was all over the place and Zeeshan Khan tore him apart. The Gozo Zalmi are deserving champions in the end and they will advance into the ECL 2024 championship at the Cartama Oval in Spain.
