It's an early finish in the eliminator. Empire CC have made light work of the chase. They came out all guns blazing and smacked their way to 120 in just 5 and a half overs. They were assisted by some erratic bowling from Ljubljana bowlers who sent down a truckload of no balls and wides. Vanraaj Padhaal displayed some class as he got himself to 71 whilst captain Jordan O'Brein was looking to slog everything out of the park.
Now, Empire CC have to beat the two French teams back to back in order to win the group D tournament. And who's to say they can't? This win will certainly boost their confidence going into the Qualifier match.
