A superb flourish from Rashidul Hassan and Munnah Rahman in the end but Everest still register a comfortable victory. Chasing 124 for victory was always going to be difficult and Nicosia Tigers lost Roman Mazumder off the second delivery itself. Rashidul Hassan and Zeeshan Mahmoud tried to bat positively but Arjun Shahi turned the game on its head. He removed Zeeshan and Yasir Mehmood off consecutive deliveries as Nicosia Tigers were reduced to 31-3. The duo of Iftekar Jaman and Jahid Hassan also didn't last for long as Rashidul was stranded at one end.

It was only from the eighth over that Nicosia started to bat fluently with Rashidul and Munnah taking the attack to the Everest bowlers. The pair added 35 runs off two overs before Munnah was run-out in the final over. Rashidul ended the innings with a blitz but he still fell 14 short of the target!
