MATCH OVER!
Fighters CC win by six wickets!
Friendship CC 79/7 (10) Fighters CC 81/4 (6.1)
Varinder Virk 25* (9) | Parwinder Singh 24 (10)
Mohammad Asaduzzaman 1-0-3-1 | Imtiaz Rana 2-0-14-1
What a comprehensive win for Fighters CC in the end. They have chased down the target with 23 balls to spare. Requiring 80 for victory, Fighters CC got off to a poor start as Imtiaz Rana bowled Baljinder Ram for a two-ball duck. Dalwinder Singh's stay in the middle was also short as Md Rashed Ahmod got rid of him in the second over.
Just when Friendship CC had a sniff, the pair of Harjot Sahota and Varinder Virk counter-attacked to relieve the pressure. Sahota was eventually sent back in the fifth over by Mohammad Asaduzzaman but Parwinder Singh ensured no further hope for Friendship CC by smashing 28 runs in the sixth over. In the end, Varinder smashed a six to post the victory in style!
6.1 Saddam Akbory to Varinder Virk, SIX! GAME, SET AND MATCH! Fighters CC proved to be too much for Friendship CC as they pick up another couple of points. Short into Virk, swivels and DISPATCHED it way over deep backward square-leg fence for a huge maximum.
Lalit Kumar, RHB, is into the middle
Oh! Parwinder Singh is gone but the damage has already been done. Fighters CC only need five runs off 24 balls now!

5.6 Md Abdul Motin to Parwinder Singh, OUT! DONE HIM IN WITH A SLOWER ONE! Excellent change of pace, dips a full delivery on the stumps. Parwinder doesn't read the slower one as he went through the shot too early and misses, went through to rattle the stumps.
Parwinder Singh b Md Abdul Motin 24 (10b) (4*1 6*3)
5.5 Md Abdul Motin to Parwinder Singh, SIX! This is some onslaught from Parwinder. Another one in the slot, Parwinder plants his front foot across and SMOKES it over deep mid-wicket fence for another maximum.
5.5 Md Abdul Motin to Parwinder Singh, WIDE! Full but loses his line, goes way outside the off-stump, called a wide.
5.4 Md Abdul Motin to Parwinder Singh, full delivery outside the off-stump. Parwinder has a big swing at it and misses.
