Dikshit towards the end of the innings lost his wicket and the Panthers still needed 18 runs from the remaining 12 deliveries. Towards the end, a few wickets did tumble for the Wild Panthers but they did have a bit of fortune in their favor as an edge from Hardik went down to third man for four and helped them cross the line.

Azhar was tonking the ball around and soon Dikshit joined the party as well. Wild Panthers had the chase under their control but Azhar was in a bit of a hurry and lost his wicket in the seventh over batting on 39. However, Dikshit carried on and hung around.

Later on, Waqas lost his wicket but Azhar took over from him and carried on. Azhar found the boundaries and sixes and kept the required run rate in check. Dikshit anchored the innings but found the odd boundaries as well. The game look in balance at the halfway stage.

Coming in to chase a sizable total of 120 runs, the Wild Panthers had a good start as Waqar had a bit of luck but did will to find the boundaries and create huge overs at the start and keep up with the required run rate.

MY WORD!! AN EDGE FOR A WIN!! The pressure does it all!! Wild Panthers who were in commanding position throughout the innings just losing the plot right towards the end. A bit of mishap 3 and a boundary of the final delivery! This was most certainly a nail-biting contest.
