However, the new man in Vikas facing strike held his nerves and got bat on the ball and stole a couple twice to level the scores and ran a single to get the Knights across the line.
Hossain bowling that over manages to get the key wicket of Tariq. The scoring rate after that took a dip in the following two overs for the Knights. This game went down to the wire as well. In the final over, a bit of confusion caused a loss of a wicket in the form of a run-out of Stoman.
Islam got the key wicket of Winter was looking firm. However, the Knights had quite the experienced players this time around as Junaid came out to bat next and kept the score moving along. However, things slowed down in the fifth over.
Coming into chase the target of 64 runs based on D/L Method had a decent start as their openers Tariq and Winter found the boundaries and kept up with the required run rate. The Knights were cruising along and Islam bowling the third over finally broke the opening stand.
The Knights managed to pull off an upset as they defeat Friendship CC who register their first loss in this competition. Vikas comes in the most precious situation and keeps his cool as he manages to get bat on ball and collect the remaining 5 runs.
