Fighters CC beat Friendship CC by 8 wickets!

Chasing 121 runs on a day when none of the sides chasing had previously won seemed like a daunting task for sure. However, the Fighters CC successfully chased down the target with five deliveries to spared. Deepu Mansurpuria was sensational with the bat and laid a solid foundation. He played a whirlwind 24-ball 52 knock which put them in the commanding position.

Skipper Mandeep Singh, after playing second riffle to Mansurpuria, switched gears and took on the aggressor's role as he smashes his way to a 19-ball 33. The Fighters CC's captain was in fine touch and his contribution went a long way in their victory. Imran Rao chipped in with a 12-ball 19 while a jaw-dropping 17 extras helped the Fighters CC get over the line comfortably.

None of the bowlers could put a halt on the flow of runs nor could chip in with wickets at crucial junctures of the game. They let the Fighters CC put up a 79-run opening stand and were unable to return with figures worth writing home. All in all, a comprehensive win for the Fighters CC and a much needed one for them too as they stay alive in this completion!

FIGHTERS CC WINS!!! Their third win and second consecutively! They move up in the points table!
