Thank you for joining us- Mohul Bhowmick and Bidipto Datta- for this exciting game! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Gamblers were the better side throughout, and showed it thoroughly against Team Tigers Portugal, who fell short by a big margin. Until next time, ciao!
As was expected at the halfway stage, this game proved to be quite one-sided in favour of Gamblers. The only batter who could have dug Team Tigers out of the hole was their skipper Asif Ataur. Although he tried his best against the new ball, it was not enough. Thushar Shah too swung a few blows but they were not significant.
He did not get any support from the other batters in his side, and this is what will hurt him. Gamblers were the better side amongst the two on offer here today. They excelled in all three departments: batting, bowling and fielding and showed up the lack that was apparent in Team Tigers Portugal.
The latter will have to take the lessons they learnt in this game and apply it when they face off against Lisbon Capitals a few moments from now. For Gamblers, this win will be quite reassuring, especially after they were subjected to a defeat against the Indian Royals earlier in the day. They will be pleased with their showing, and hope to take this form into the finals day tomorrow.

Sikhri, who is not a regular bowler for Gamblers, enjoyed his stint out in the middle with the ball in hand today. He has shown glimpses of why he can be a big threat.
