That brings us to the end of our coverage for this midnight T10 clash. Till the next time, this is me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) bidding adieu. Goodnight! Cheers!
Germany won by 9 wickets (with 14 deliveries to spare)
That was a comprehensive win for Germany and they are looking like the team to beat at this stage. They have played some exceptional cricket and handed the Irish XI their first defeat of the competition. Aritharan Vaseekaran came out with a positive frame of mind as he smashed a couple of sixes but it was one shot too many as he was holed out at deep backward square leg.
It was pure carnage from there on as Jamshed Khan and Boom Boom Shahid Afridi Jr turned it on with some blistering strokeplay. They looked at complete ease and had the run chase under control. It was so easy for the two powerful strikers of the ball. Jamshed was quite exceptional down the ground.
He remained unbeaten on 60 off just 24 deliveries which included 6 fours and 5 sixes. Shahid Afridi did what he does best. He kept plundering the bowling attack to all corners of the park and eventually remained unbeaten on 44 off 18 deliveries which included 2 fours and 5 sixes.
7.4 Sam Harbinson to Jamshed Khan, FOUR! That was a low full toss outside off, Jamshed Khan has slashed that away past the point region and that races away to the fence. Germany with with 14 deliveries to spare.
7.3 Sam Harbinson to Jamshed Khan, SIX! That was a length delivery a shade outside off, Jamshed with a swipe across the line, didn't quite get that from the middle of the bat but good enough to clear the deep midwicket fence.
7.3 Sam Harbinson to Jamshed Khan, short angling down leg and that has been called a wide.
7.2 Sam Harbinson to Shahid Afridi, angling down the leg side, was a low full toss and Shahid misses out on the attempted flick, a leg bye single taken.
7.1 Sam Harbinson to Shahid Afridi, back of a length delivery a shade outside off, Afridi swipes across the line and gets beaten.
7.1 Sam Harbinson to Jamshed Khan, that was a slower length delivery well wide outside off, Jamshed throws his hands at that, was well wide and he has to reload that, an extra run taken.

6.6 Adam Kennedy to Jamshed Khan, Dropped and that will be fifty for Jamshed Khan. Was a low full toss outside off, crunched away towards the cover fielder, was aerial and the fielder spills it. A single will give him a well deserved half-century.
