What an unbelievable finish to the ECS Romania here and it's CLUJ who have emerged as champions of the series and they've done it by 8 wickets! They've reclaimed their champion title and it's been a outstanding run chase under pressure in the final from them!
The innings was started off with a bang with Taranjeet Singh as he went berserk in the powerplay! Singh played a delightful innings of 46 from just 18 balls and was given good company by Rajith! Once he was dismissed, Perera took things into his own hands and along with Vasu Saini got them over the line!
The lack of wickets hurt the Giarmata side! They only got one wicket early on and failed to penetrate through the middle overs when Perera and Taranjeet were going all guns blazing! Towards the end, Chamika Fernando bowled a five wides of a crucial delivery and that turned out to be the game changer! In the end, the CLUJ cruised home comfortably with 8 wickets and one over to spare!
CLUJ are the champions of ECS Romania 2023! They win by 8 wickets!
