Ian Bell [India Capitals Captain]: He has been playing this way throughout the tournament and we find the right entry point for him to come in. DK (Dhawal Kulkarni) is a good bowler and he delivered today. My hamstring is a bit soar. Hopefully, I would be ready for the playoffs.

Ben Dunk [India Capitals, Player of the Match]: We had a good couple of days leading into this match. This was our most complete batting performance. I work pretty hard in the gym and in the nets. I am happy that I am hitting a few from the middle of the bat. I have been lucky to put some time in the nets against some local bowlers.

Thisara Perera [Manipal Tigers Captain]: Definitely 185 is too much on that pitch. We gave 20-25 runs extra. We had to keep them down to 160. If you look at our batting line up, even 180 can be chased. But we did not click. That is cricket! This format can be a one-man show. If you click, this happens. Cricket is a funny game. Anureet's heroics towards the end threatened to turn the game on its head but it was always going to be a mountain too high to climb after what had transpired before. India Capitals were largely clinical. The seam bowlers set the tone with Dhawal Kulkarni and Pankaj Singh hitting hard length and keeping it within the stumps for most part. The spinners too played their part. The two left arm spinners - Avinash Yadav and Iqbal Abdulla - were particularly impressive. Rahul Sharma looked a bit stiff but alas, the Tigers could not cash upon the half trackers that he sent down.

Earlier, Ben Dunk lit up the night with his clean ball-striking. He got close to completing a century before a yorker from Tigers' stand-in skipper accounted for his dismissal. But before that he had helped the Capitals pile on an above-par total in this must win game.
