West Indies Masters elected to bat
Pitch Report
It is a pretty good surface, there are some dry spots because of which the spinners might come into play. The last two times the skippers won the toss, they elected to bowl first and lost. Brian Lara's decision to bat first after winning the toss seems like a good one now

Sachin Tendulkar is handed the trophy on the dias and now, golden confetti surrounds India Masters as they pose ahead of the board that boldly reads CHAMPIONS!
India Masters collected their winner's medal. Sachin Tendulkar, the skipper, is the last to receive his medal
Sachin Tendulkar (captain, India Masters): Yes, this feels nice around the neck. We were quite chilled out, we just wanted to go out and play our game. I just told the boys that we need to produce the same brand of cricket. This is the last game of the season and let us give our best. A number of individuals came together. We did well as a team and a number of individuals put their hands up. Like today, I thought Nadeem bowled very well. Rayudu batted very well today and all the guys have chipped in at every stage. I might be missing out on some names but the way we finished the first innings was impressive. The morale was high and it was very important to have a good start. The response was good, players had a few injuries here, but they were pushing to play. At the end of the day, when you go back and sit in the dressing room, it is a great feeling. I remember our first practice session and I said can you visualize lifting the trophy here? Off the field, there are so many funny stories, all in all a great experience. Big thank you to all who turned up. That energy is contagious and we love it. It literally fell like any other international match
West Indies Masters collect their runners-up medals. Brian Lara, the skipper, is the last to receive his medal
Brian Lara (captain, West Indies Masters): The Indians bowled very well. We were 30-40 runs short and were aiming for 200+. Credit to India as they were able to restrict us to a smaller total. A great achievement with the way the guys played. They must be commended for the way they played. We have got some areas to correct. Great tournament, the crowd turnout has been great. My urge to the organizers is to keep the tournament going and quality cricket will follow.
The umpires and the match referees collect their mementos from Sunil Gavaskar
Shane Watson wins the award for hitting the most sixes in the season (25 sixes)
Kumar Sangakarra wins the award for the most fours hit in the season (38 fours). Darren Gough collects the award on his behalf
Ambati Rayudu (Player of the Match, India Masters): It's been good, the wicket wasn't easy and I was a bit tired after keeping wickets as well. We all knew the wicket was a bit imbalanced but we knew if we had a good start we could win. Fortunate that me and Sachin sir could stitch the partnership at the start. It has been very tough, physically ,and has been tough as any of the professional leagues. Credits to the support staff for keeping fit. (Playing with Sachin Tendulkar) Always a pleasure, with the way he has been batting and we are still in awe of him. The poster in the bedroom will always stay
11:00 pm local time and IST: India Masters win by six wickets and are the Champions of the International Masters League 2025
India Masters are the Champions of International Masters League 2025. They have been a very dominant side throughout the league stages and they affirm the same with a title win. Commiserations for West Indies Masters, who have been very good throughout the season as well. They will hold their heads high as they walk away.
Powerplay was the phase where India Masters capitalized and did a majority of the job. Ambati Rayudu batted extremely well in the powerplay, blazing his way with only two fielders outside the circle. Rayudu scored a half-century in the final, but by the time the wickets began to chime in regularly, the game was done.
West Indies Masters used one of their premier pacers, Ravi Rampaul, early in the game and that seemed to have done more harm than good. The spinners, Suleiman Benn and Ashley Nurse, picked up three wickets between them and could have done more damage had they been introduced early. In pacers, Tino Best was the only pacer to get a wicket but he was taken apart for runs as well.
Let's now go down to the presentation ceremony.
