The teams would now head to New Delhi for the second T20I, which would be taking place on Wednesday, October 9th. Arshdeep Singh (Player of the Match, India): There was some breeze from the end I was bowling. I was planning to use it. I didn't get the wicket the way I wanted, but the ball is coming nicely out of the hand so I am enjoying it. The more you play, the better you get. Enjoyed bowling with these guys, especially Mayank. Even my normal deliveries felt like slower ones in front of his pace. I have made some minor changes to my run-up and wrist position and it seems to be working well. I guess in this format is the best thing in this format is how well you can adapt to the situation, to the wicket and the ground dimensions as well. My motive is to adapt as quickly.

Suryakumar Yadav (India): We Just tried to back our skills. What we decided in the team meeting, we just walked the talk. The boys showed a lot of character. It is very exciting. Looking forward to see them in the upcoming games. It is a good headache to have when you have many bowling options to choose from. There would always be areas to improve upon. We have two days to sit down and ponder upon it.

Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh captain): Yes obviously we didn't start well. In T20s first six overs is very important but we didn't start well. The plan was to play positive cricket and show intent from the first ball. We had to manage better. We didn't have a proper plan today. I think we need to focus on strike rotation and not hit big shots off every balls. If we have wickets in hand, we could have scored more. I think it's very hard for the bowlers in this pitch. Rishad bowled well, Fizz also bowled well for a couple of overs.
