Nitish Kumar Reddy [Player of the Match]: Feels very great. I want to live in this moment. I think I should give credit to captain and coach. They gave me the license to play the way I play in the IPL. I took my time early on. Then, when the no-ball came, I switched gears. (With the ball,) I was not searching for wickets. I was just looking to execute my plans. It feels great to be playing for India. I want to be able to contribute.

Suryakumar Yadav [India Captain]: You can say that we were under pressure at 41/3 but I wanted the lower order to be tested in that situation. They batted the way I wanted them to. The message has been loud and clear. Go and express yourself. Do what you have done for your franchise and state team. Only the jersey changes, nothing else. It was about testing what these guys can do. Can they give me one or two overs? It was Nitish Kumar Reddy's day, so I gave him the new ball and told him to go there and make it large.

Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh captain): We've repeated the same mistakes, not good as a team and we need to improve. It was a good decision still, if you look at the bowling, first six or seven overs, we bowled well but after that India came back, we didn't bounce back. Take responsibility as batters, we have to believe in ourselves, if we spend time in the middle we can do it. After six or seven overs, we didn't execute our plans. The way Tanzim, Taskin bowled, it was impressive.

Rinku Singh [India]: I always tell myself, when the chips are down, when I go in and say to myself, that I keep my cool and believe myself, play according to the situation. Practice is natural, I've been playing for long and practice accordingly. It's important to keep temp going even with the wickets are down. I always to try to play till the end, but I get out sometimes. Plan was always to build partnership with the ball stopping, rotating the strike was important. Momentum picked up with the no-ball, Reddy hit a six and from there he was unstoppable.
