Annabel Sutherland is the Player of the Match for her spell of 3/47 as well as handy 23-run cameo with the bat. Here's what she has to say: It was good fun. It was a team effort in the field all the way. We held our nerve. I thought the fielding effort in particular (was great). Phoebe Litchfield was outstanding and we were able to hold on in the end. Was trying to keep the stumps in play as much as possible. Nice of Midgey (Healy) to have faith in me and I'm glad it paid off. Was just trying to read the game as much as possible. Been working with our bowling coach Scott Prestwidge and have experienced it in franchise cricket and domestic comps back home as well. Just bowling to the field and trusting my instincts. I thought it was tricky to start off on, there was a bit of spin. I thought we were a bit under par but Alana King was unbelievable towards the end. We took a bit of momentum into the fielding innings on the back of that. Phoebe as well, it was a tough innings but she ground it through.
Alyssa Healy (Australia captain): Yeah it was a close game. Full credit to our girls. We continue to find ways of winning in tough situations. I think we felt a little bit short. We took a bit of momentum into the second innings with Alana King hitting those big shots. Once again the bowlers rose to the occasion. We keep on hanging in there. There is something about the Australian sporting team. We keep believing that anything can happen till the last ball this is why we have been doing so well. We have seen a lot of changes. We keep producing the young players who are ready for international cricket. Credit to the system in the domestic cricket up in Australia.
Harmanpreet Kaur (India captain): I think we bowled really well today. We planned that we have to keep thinking about taking wickets and keep them to a decent total. Lot of positives from the game. I know in the end they took the game away from us but lot of positives. Proud of the way the team played. If we would have showed a bit more awareness that would have played a role. Richa played a very good innings and Jemi helped her in the middle. We've seen a couple of good performances. Looking forward to the next game now. We know they have a very long batting lineup and if we could stop them to less than 300 it was a great effort. It was a decent total and we could have chased it but if we had showed more awareness in the middle-overs it would have been better. (On the dropped catches) It's part of the game. We're playing under a lot of heat and so much cricket back to back. It's important as to how you bounce back.
Let's here from Phoebe Litchfield: Yeah to be honest it was a big challenge. If you keep watching someone struggling. Would have been lovely to get some more runs but I am happy. She is an amazing player. Takes the pressure of me and allows me to play my game. You saw that Ash didn't get spin but when she came back she started to get spin. The spinners worked around brilliantly. Felt pretty good with the catch. Yeah just holding our nerves. We needed to keep building pressure and definitely Ash in the end held her nerves.
It all began with scintillating innings from Litchfield, who took her time and solidified Australia's position in the middle by anchoring the innings through out and along with her, someone who gets better and better as time progresses, Ellyse Perry, played a well crafted 50 runs of just 47 balls.
Deepti Sharma was sensational with the ball, taking a well deserved and applaudable 5fer versus a quality batting line up, with some impressive scalps in the middle, bowling to her field and varying her line and length nicely and cheekily as well.
The second innings saw, Yastika Bhatia find her feet gradually and played a slow and rather a very struggling knock, but complimented her in the middle, the free-flowing Smriti Mandana, who played some flamboyant strokes through the middle, but lost her composure on a sluggish surface in the middle
Richa Ghosh...played a fabulous knock and steadied the ship in the middle and in the people's eye, who didn't watch the game, the numbers are misleading. To bat at 3, on a surface as slow and grip aiding as this and to score 96 on it is just fantastic to spectate. Her composure and the maturity she displayed in the middle, was truly tremendous!
Jemmiah Rodrigues played a well crafted 44 in the middle, helping Ghosh stay in the middle as well.
Ashleigh Gardner and Annabel Sutherland were nothing short of exceptional with the ball, bowling their side to the banks of victory. Sutherland especially, was superb in the death and the middle, as she was able to restrict the run-flow and break partnerships at crucial junctures of the game.
Well, that was pretty much the game of cricket today, which left us all enthralled by and I must say, it was permeated by good cricket all around! The Aussies take home the label of victory, and also clinch the series!
Heartbreak for India! They've fallen agonizingly short as Australia take the series. Truth be told, this was a game India had no business losing but alas, they've squandered a solid position of strength.

49.6 Annabel Sutherland to Shreyanka Patil, FOUR! It is a boundary but Australia wins by 3 runs and takes the series 2-0 with a match still left. Was a back of a length delivery from Sutherland, around the off stump and that been reverse swept past the short third man fielder and goes away to the fence. Australia have again managed to win a game from a very difficult situation. This is not the first time, India has bottled up a run chase against Australia.
49.5 Annabel Sutherland to Deepti Sharma, slower back of a length delivery a tad outside off, Deepti tries to slam this down the ground, cue ends this down towards the long on fielder and has to settle for a single. 8 needed off the final delivery.
