That's it from the first semi final of the Women's Asia Cup, India win it comfortably and now they wait for the result of the next semi final. Stay tuned at Sportskeeda as we have a lot of matches today being covered. This is the commentary duo of Bidipto and Divyansh, signing off.
Player of the Match, Shafali Verma: The wicket is very good bat on, and it does give me a lot of confidence playing my shots on this pitch. Hope the weather stays good and the pitch stays unaffected for the final. I'm working hard and always on the lookout for contributing to the team's winning cause.
Harmanpreet Kaur, India Women captain: I think we batted really well and Thailand too bowled really well, they did not give loose balls to us. Runs on the board are always key, Shafali and Jemimah too were among the runs, so that side of things is going well for us. Deepti is getting better everyday with her all-round game and it shows on the field. If 150 runs are put on the board, it is a good total anytime, any day. Hope to continue the form in the final.
Naruemol Chaiwai, Thailand Women captain: I thought we were better than the last game, but I believe that we can take a lot from this experience. We want to win every game, and we want to have fun. If things stay good, we are going to improve for sure.
A comprehensive win for India to reach the finals. Thailand did well to survive the 20 overs with just one wicket left. A lot of learning from them from this tournament but they will be happy with their achievement.
Deepti Sharma started off the innings with 3 wickets from her 4 overs and just 7 runs, 21 dot balls from 24 balls bowled by her. Gayakwad came in towards the end and took 2 wickets in her last over. Rana, Renuka and Verma with a wicket each.
The lack of boundaries and the huge amount of dot balls have caused them to lose by a huge margin. Only 4 boundaries and a total off 77 dot balls in the innings. Chaiwai and Boochatham stayed on the crease for a long time to hold on to the wickets.
This Thailand team would have inspired many young girls by their brilliant performance in the tournament. Hats off to them for qualifying for the semis and playing their hearts out.

19.6 Shafali Verma to Thipatcha Putthawong, INDIA WOMEN ARE THE FIRST FINALISTS OF THE ASIA CUP! Full outside off, Thipatcha goes for the hit, misses, it stays just inside the tramline as Richa gets hold of it behind the stumps and that is that! Dot ball.
19.5 Shafali Verma to Nanthita Boonsukham, over the wicket, fuller on off, an attempted drive against the turn, it takes the pads on the way to short third man and somehow, they run a leg-bye!
