POST-MATCH PRESENTATION
Shadab Khan, Islamabad United captain: Last few overs were poor from us but the start was good with the ball. We look to bat in the same fashion and also look to perform under pressure, but it would have been better to win tonight. But I'm happy to contribute consistently.
Mohammad Rizwan, Multan Sultans captain: I think we have gelled well as a unit up to now and the coach has had a big hand in it. Whatever we did tonight came off, let's hope this performance continues.
Player of the Match, Tim David: Pretty nice when you can take the game on and it comes off. Yes it was nice to help the side set up such a big total. It's always a happy change room to have with 4 wins out of four. But the way we are playing, it's because of how well we have prepared up to now.
MATCH SUMMARY

Multan Sultans beat Islamabad United by 20 runs.
Player of the Match - Tim David - 71 (29) (6x4, 6x6), a catch and a run out
It was a very impressive performance once again by Mohammad Rizwan's Multan Sultans with both bat and ball. They were asked to bat first on a brilliant pitch for batting and their batters did not disappoint. The opening batting pair of Shan Masood and skipper Rizwan got Multan off to a fine start before the Rizwan was run-out unluckily. Shan Masood continued his good batting form for a while but when Sohaib Maqsood and he fell, out came Tim David to join Rilee Rossouw at the crease.
The partnership of Roussouw and David kept on prospering as they got the runs coming in every over through fours and sixes! Tim David went big with his muscular hitting, either clearing the fence with ease or finding the boundaries at regular intervals. Rilee Rossouw struggled a bit against leg-spin and was fortunate a couple of times but after that, he made sure to punish every bad ball that came his way.
The bowling from Islamabad was off-colour, especially in the final 10 overs with too many full tosses disappearing to the boundary or over it. Shadab was the only bowler to have found some consistency for his team. Every other bowler went at well over 9 runs per over.
When the Islamabad openers began, it looked as though they were well on course. Paul Stirling and Alex Hales provided the innings with the required platform to launch bigger. Every batter that came in to bat looked to take the bowling on but that tactic did not quite work today as wickets kept falling at crucial times.
Shadab Khan was the standout batter in the 2nd innings. The way he managed to keep hitting fours and sixes right through his innings was simply outstanding! He was the reason why the Multan Sultans could not relax in their defence of such a big score.
Khushdil Shah was the pick of the bowlers for Multan, taking 4 important wickets and not allowing a partnership to flourish. He was well supported by David Willey who returned with 3 wickets himself and finished off the Islamabad innings. But the all important wicket of Shadab was taken by the experienced Rumman Raees that all but put an and to the batting onslaught.
Multan Sultans now have four wins out of their four matches and sit comfortably at the top of the table while Islamabad United suffer their first defeat in the competition after having played two matches.
Erin Holland catches up with Imran Tahir: Tahir hands over the cap to Khushdil Shah as he's now the leading wicket taker of the tournament for now! Look it was obviously hard in the night games, bowling under such conditions is not easy, due factor and stuff, Khushdil bowled really well but he's got the long boundary from his end that's why, I'm just kidding. Obviously as a senior spinner I had to bowl from this end, try and bowl well. When I presented the cap to him, I told him I'll get it back soon! Rizwan is very easy going guy, wonderful human and wonderful captain, everyone loves him in the team and we respect what he does. When I said easy going, he provides the field that bowler asks for. We're going to get great confidence, batting first and winning twice, no one has done that this season, I think it's just on the day how you play and we're very lucky as a group, we enjoy each other's success, we work harder, we've won four out of four, enjoy every moment in the field.
Multan Sultans win by 20 runs with 2 balls left!
19.4 David Willey to Mohammad Wasim, OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! Sultans make it four in four and continue the winning streak. Back of a length, nips back into Wasim who clears his front foot to heave but misses, rattles the leg-stump and has been uprooted. This has been more clinical from Sultans tonight and they're at the top of the table by a distance!
Mohammad Wasim Jr b Willey 3 (5)
19.3 David Willey to Mohammad Wasim, OH! Back of a length, shapes back into Wasim who shuffles inside the line to hoick but misses, hits him on the body!
19.2 David Willey to Mohammad Wasim, short delivery on the outside off, Wasim on the backfoot heaves that one towards cow corner and they get only a brace.
19.1 David Willey to Mohammad Wasim, back of a length on the fourth stump line, Wasim was quick to shuffle across and ramp it over but misses, through to the keeper.
David Willey [3.0-0-36-2] comes back into the attack.
