That’s the end of the game and it’s Italy who have stormed past Norway to take the first Qualifier. The Norway bowlers kept themselves in the game with a cluster of wickets in the first four overs which was largely possible due to some immaculate bowling by Ahmadullah Shinwari who took three early wickets to reduce Italy to 31/4. However it was a stunning knock from Anik Ahmed which totally turned the game on it’s head and eventually Italy went on to register a 3 wickets victory with an over to spare.
It was always going to be a tall ask for the Norway bowlers to defend a below-par score of 85 but they displayed fighting character and managed to take the game deep. It was a one way traffic for the first five overs until Anik Ahmed turned the game on it's head with a breezy 31 off just 13 deliveries. In the end, a good game of cricket and Italy goes through to the final.
