This is just one of the best wins in this tournament so far. So, so clinical. So, so good. Brennan and Asa Tribe laid down the marker early by racing past 50 in the powerplay when Belgium had lost three wickets for less than 30 runs in the same period.
Zakhel got one ball to rise on the former and broke the partnership but got no respect in return as Zak Tribe, taller and stronger than Asa, smashed him for a first-ball six. Runs came thick and fast from then on and by the time Zakhel could have thought to come back and bowl his second over, the match was over!
The two Tribe boys got set against the pacers and carved the spinners all around the ground. There were a few loose deliveries but even the best ones were hit out of the park. Belgium simply lacked any incisive variation or threat on the day and have something to work on.
8.3 Zaki Shah to Zak Tribe, SIX! GAME, SET AND MATCH! Jersey have absolutely annihilated Belgium, they start off their campaign with a thumping win. Length delivery on the off-stump, Zak swings across and clubbed it way over deep mid-wicket fence to seal the game in style!
8.2 Zaki Shah to Zak Tribe, back of a length over the stumps, Zak has a wild heave across the line and misses.
8.1 Zaki Shah to Asa Tribe, DROPPED! Just sums up the game for Belgium with the ball. Back of a length on the off-stump, Asa smacked it straight to the man at long-on who shells it.
Easy times for the Tribe brothers. They had no issues with taking the singles and doubles and go back to the pavilion unbeaten.
