Match Summary
Jersey beat Ireland XI by 40 runs.
Asa Tribe 122 (32) & 2/17 (2) Sam Harbinson 97 (31) | Jared Wilson 2/34 (2)
Well, Ireland XI gave a very good fight but the target was a big one for them. A good fight indeed but the performance just fell short. The batters gave a good performance but were unable to set a foundation. The batters did a remarkable job with the bat and were sadly fallen by just a few runs. The target was a huge target to climb. The batters started things on an off note as they lost the wicket on the very first ball but it was the skipper yet again for Ireland who got a sensational knock, unlike Asa Tribe fell to make the impact as he was dismissed for just a whisker away from a century and all hell broke for the batters after that as they kept losing the wickets to lose the match eventually.

9.3 Asa Tribe to Liam Doherty, well that's the weirdest wicket you'd see in cricket. The batter comes down the ground and misses the hoick on this outside-off-stump delivery. But the keeper doesn't grab it cleanly and the ball hits the stumps. BUT THE BAILS DON'T FALL OUT. The batter should be in by now but the bat drops out of his hand and the keeper grabs it again and breaks the stumps. Liam Doherty st Jack Kemp b Asa Tribe 0 (1b 0x4 0x6)
