Shan Masood (Karachi Kings captain): I and the management were firm believers that the wicket would have some freshness. You want to get out of that rut. We wanted to stop that losing streak. We are into the business end. Still a long way to go but we are very happy. We brought Hasan in for the wickets and he took two, we took the positive step of bringing Muzarabani and that went well this time, unlike the last match. I liked the intensity from everyone, they bowled in tandem and the pressure helped each other. I am a bit disappointed obviously. We got the best of the conditions as a batting unit. But you take it game-by-game. I'll want that the next innings is a big one. We want some winning momentum now.
Hasan Ali: We all know that conditions are not very good fast-bowlers here. The boundaries are very short. But I am a strong believer that I can get wickets by bowling line and length. We wanted to get wickets upfront and we utilized the seam and swing very well. I am pretty satisfied with my performance, I am getting wickets for my team. As a senior member of the team, I want to perform whenever my captain asks me to. We have a small guest in our house - I want to dedicate this Player of the Match to Hazel. Hopefully she'll watch this interview and would be very happy.

Rilee Rossouw (Quetta Gladiators' captain): The Kings had the better of the conditions. We thought it was a 200-run wicket but it wasn't.It wasn't easy to play against the new ball today. We lost our way with our batting. But I am very proud of the way the boys came back with the ball in hand. It was a disappointing loss. Overall, our morale is quite high. Hopefully, we can pull things around. It wasn't a low-scoring pitch at all. Karachi bowled well. Every year that I come back, the tournament seems to be getting bigger.

Such a good win for the Kings. They have completely out-batted, out-bowled and out-fielded the Gladiators here in Pindi in a rare low-scoring contest. They won most of the battle by keeping them down to 118 on one of the most high-scoring grounds in Pakistan. The biggest credit for that goes to Hasan Ali's back-breaking four-wicket haul. Momentum was in the Kings' favor after that and they just made full use of it.
Amir set-up Masood early for the wicket and Quetta threw their best spinners at them soon after. But Seirfert had come out all guns blazing and took on Amir's second over well. Vince supported him on the other end well. Both were helped by drop catches and half-chances and by the time Vince lost his wicket against Hasnain, the match was all but over. A set Seifert, with support from Malik, finished things off with ease.
