That's all we have from our coverage for this encounter. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of mye fellow commentator and good mate Pradeep. Goodnight! Cheers!
Prince Yadav (Kashi Rudras captain and Player of the Match): There was assistance for the bowlers, especially the spinners. I felt bowlers from both sides bowled well. We could have restricted them under 100 but Bhuvi bhai batted brilliantly in the final over. I had the calculations in my mind and knew which bowler to target.
Samarth Singh (Noida Super Kings captain): We didn't expect the ball to turn so much but it's expected from the batters to get runs so it was disappointing. It wasn't our day to be honest.
Time for the post match presentation ceremony with Raman Bhanot.
Kashi Rudras won by 2 wickets (with 4 deliveries to spare)
Despite a sensational effort with the ball from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Prashant Veer, the Kashi Rudras managed to hold their nerves and win the game by 2 wickets. They looked dead and buried at one stage and despite the stutter, they found a hero in Prince Yadav who did a remarkable job to take his side over the finish line. Bhuvneshwar Kumar started off brilliantly with the new ball, bagging the wicket of Siddharth Chaudhary.
Saurabh Kumar bagged the prized scalp of Karan Sharma who has been the top run scorer for the Kashi Rudras. Bhuvi then bagged the wicket of Sachin Bishem in his 2nd over as the Kashi Rudras were reduced to 10/3. Kamil Khan and Shivam Bansal started rebuilding the sinking ship. They batted steadily when Prashant Veer bagged the wicket of Kamil Khan.
Shivam Bansal also departed in quick time and it looked the Kashi Rudras were staring down the barrel. The two Yadavs Abhishek and Bobby was also dismissed without bothering the scorers much. At 56/7, it looked the writing was on the wall. However Prince Yadav had other ideas as he turned the game with a flurry of boundaries.
He batted with composure and stitched a good partnership with Shashank Awasthi. That was the decisive partnership which eventually helped the Kashi Rudras win by 2 wickets. Awasthi struck a couple of important sixes before Mohammad Sharim finished the match off with a boundary.
19.2 Naman Tiwari to Mohammad Sharim, FOUR! GAME, SET AND MATCH! Sharim finishes the game in style, Kashi clawed their way back into this game from so much behind and goes over the line. All credit to the skipper, Prince Yadav. Back of a length on the middle and off, Sharim thumped it down to wide long-on, goes one bounce into the ropes.
19.1 Naman Tiwari to Prince Yadav, back of a length on the fourth stump, Prince dabs it down to third-man for one. Sensible from the skipper!
Mohammad Sharim, RHB is the new man in.
Shashank Awasthi was trying to finish the game off with a big hit but he ends up holding out at long on. That was a poor shot especially with just 3 runs needed. Some good lusty blows from Awasthi which has turned the match on it's head. Now just 3 more required off the final over.
