Well, that's our cue to sign off then. This has been Pratyush Rohra, in the company of my partner, Pradeep Somashekhar. Thank you for joining our coverage. Goodnight!
Right then. Lancashire makes it two wins out of two to start their competition. They're laying down the early marker this season and will want to go all the way this year. They begin a run of four away games now, and will hope to settle into a fixed side as the tournament progresses. All is not lost for the Notts, having lost their first game of the season. It's not quite the case of going back to the drawing board yet, but they will want to take the learnings from this game to come back stronger next time.
Daryl Mitchell: It's nice to come in front of a big crowd, hopefully we can carry on the momentum on. It's nice to contribute to the team and to put score on the board, bit of luck along as well and like to swing around. It was a key partnership, we just wanted to keep finding way to pressure on. It was a top nut from Wood, he comes charging in and a sight for the bowlers. Nice wicket out there, it was always about partnership, they put pressure on us but we came back to take wickets all the time. We don't want to get too far ahead of us, just stay in the present and try to win the games as they come.
Lancashire Lightning win by 22 runs!
Daryl Mitchell - 85* (41) | Luke Wood - 2/29 Colin Munro - 60 (29) | Samit Patel - 2/41
Game. Set. Match. Just like that, Lancashire get the job done without making it too difficult for them in the middle. It was all set up by their batters after opting to bat first, posting a mammoth target on the board courtesy of a blitzkrieg from Daryl Mitchell. The Kiwi carried on his good form to blaze his way to an unbeaten 85 to lead the Lancashire innings, with handy cameos in that batting order.
Luke Wood set the tone from ball one in the second innings, dismissing Alex Hales with an absolute peach. Colin Munro managed to inject some much-needed impetus into the run chase with his half-century and got a fair bit of support from Montgomery. However, once Munro was dismissed, it was Lancashire who were in control.
Montgomery and Moores played their part to try and take the game deep but the Notts didn't have enough firepower to go on to finish things off. Luke Wood was the pick of the bowlers for the Lancs, amongst the eight bowling options used by the captain. It was a clinical performance from the hosts to pocket the two points and get the job done.

19.6 Saqib Mahmood to Tom Moores, THAT'S IT! Saqib Mahmood holds on to his nerve, not one boundary conceded in the final over as Lancashire make it three out of three! Short on the leg-stump, Moores pulled it down to fine-leg for one.
19.5 Saqib Mahmood to Lyndon James, short and wide of off-stump, James cuts it hard to deep covers for a single. Final ball coming up!
19.4 Saqib Mahmood to Lyndon James, OH! Walks across off-stump to access on-side, length delivery that was strayed down the leg-side as James misses the whip and it's another dot.
19.3 Saqib Mahmood to Tom Moores, banged in the short delivery on the off-stump, Moores firmly pulls it to deep square-leg for only a single.
