Right then, this brings us to the end of our coverage for this encounter. Switch tabs to follow the India vs Sri Lanka World Cup game which is currently underway but from here, this is me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) biding adieu also on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Mohul Bhowmick.
Zagreb Chiefs won by 24 runs
Muhammad Burhan 42(23) | Amal Jacob 3/9(2) Mirwais Shinwari 27(16) | Dileep Pallekonda 1/9(2)
A convincing victory for the Zagreb Chiefs as they win 24 runs after a dominating bowling effort. Despite a good start, it all went pear shaped from the 3rd over as Ljubljana lost 5 wickets in 5 balls and there was literally no way back for them from that situation. Ramanjot Singh and Izaz Ali began with a few exquisite shots as they shared a 30 run stand for the first wicket.
From 30/0, Ljubljana was reduced to 30/5 and that proved to be the game-changing moments. Within a blink of an eye, they were five wickets down. Dileep Pallenkonda and Mirwais Shinwari chipped in with useful knocks towards the end but it was never going to be enough as the required rate kept climbing with each delivery. Shinwari was eventually dismissed for 27 which came in just 16 deliveries while Pallekonda scored 12. Mecit Ozturk and Amal Jacob were the pick of the bowlers for Zagreb Chiefs bagging 3 wickets apiece.

9.6 Prakash Govintharaj to Hassaan Ahmed, at a length on off and middle, comes back in nicely. Ahmed tries to work it away to the on side but misses. So does the keeper and a bye is taken. ZAGREB CHIEFS WIN THIS GAME!
9.5 Prakash Govintharaj to Dinesh Matla, short of a length on off and middle. Matla pulls at it and gets a top edge wide of third man. Single taken.
9.4 Prakash Govintharaj to Dinesh Matla, FOUR! Back of a length and a tad wide outside off. Matla goes back and cuts it away wide of the fielder at point for a boundary!
9.3 Prakash Govintharaj to Hassaan Ahmed, at a length on middle and leg, comes back in a tad. Ahmed works it to wide of square leg. Single taken.
9.2 Prakash Govintharaj to Dileep Pallekonda, GONE THIS TIME! BOWLED HIM! Full and straight on off and middle. Fairly straight forward delivery but Dileep plays all around it. The ball goes on to shatter the stumps!
9.1 Prakash Govintharaj to Dileep Pallekonda, SIX! BANG! Short of a length on off and middle, comes back in a tad. Dileep goes back and pulls it away over deep square leg for a massive hit!
We are done with the penultimate over and Zagreb Chiefs have sealed it with an over left. A good start to the over but couldn't quite continue the carnage which they were in desperate need off.
