This was a close contest! But it was the last gasp effort of Krishna Kumar that changed the course of the innings and turned things the way of Ljubljana!
This now means that Zagreb Sokol do not either make the final or the European Cricket League next year. Zagreb Assassins are the team therefore to make the cut for the showpiece event!
However, Zagreb Sokol ran Ljubljana close today with the ball. No batter besides Krishna Kumar was able to get to double digits. Skipper Aman Maheshwari was brilliant with the ball, picking up 3 wickets and he took an excellent catch at mid-wicket but that was not to be enough for his side!
So, the final now will be played between Ljubljana and Zagreb Assassins to decided who is crowned the winner of ECS Croatia, 2023!
