Luxembourg were always up against it, but they did make a fairly good effort of making a match out of it. They lost far too many wickets for their liking early on, their middle order in Joost Mees tried to make a game out of it, but were never going to catch up. Norway finish the day with a complete performance. Their bowlers - both pacers and spinners - hit the right areas more often, Norway took their catches, and barring the odd expensive overs, were tight with their line and length when it mattered.

Having lost 4 wickets in the powerplay itself, Luxembourg, despite going at a run rate of 12 an over, were always going to be up against it. Joost Mees and Thomas Martin went after the target, but were under immense pressure, which was piled up with the number of dot deliveries in the middle overs. They left too much for the end, and fell well short of the mark.
