SCOTLAND XI BEAT LUXEMBOURG BY 29 RUNS. Michael English 39 | Marcus Cope 4-24 Mohit Dixit 33 | Jack Hogarth 2-16
Luxembourg have only themselves to blame for the predicament that they are in at the moment. They had got off to a decent start, but could not materialise it as almost all of their middle-order batters threw their wickets away. Scotland XI's bowlers were not extraordinary in the sense that they snatched this game away from the batting side. Apart from a cameo by Mohit Dixit, there was nothing to write home about for the Luxembourgish.
Scotland XI proceed to the finals day, which will take place tomorrow. Luxembourg, on the other hand, will have to sit and watch the final match of today, between France and Belgium to know their fate. This result will hurt offie Marcus Cope the most, who put in an outstanding effort with the ball to restrict the Scots to just 114. Alas, his team's batters did not follow through.

9.1 Adrian Neill to Vikram Vijh, full delivery, Vijh smashes this without substantial contact to square leg, just one
The last over of this match coming up. Luxembourg have surely thrown this game away. They were in with a shout earlier on, but now it seems that Scotland XI will be home and dry quite comfortably.
