What an incredible win for Austria here and they make it three out of three games in this ECI series now! They had a tough total to chase but in the end, they did it easily with an over to spare. The openers were in destructive mode, especially Klair Kailash who ended up with a 50+ score. Armaan remained unbeaten in the end and guided them home with an unbeaten 45. They never really fell behind the rate and were always on top of the game. The Malta bowlers hardly had anything going for them and in the end, it became a bit too easy for Austria as Jaweed Zadran finished things off with a couple of boundaries.
The Malta bowlers took some real tap right throughout the course of the innings as the Austrian openers got stuck into them and took them to the cleaners. They struggled with the dew in the outfield and despite having a huge total on the board, they couldn't make it count. In the end it was Basil George who did manage to pick up the sole wicket of the dangerous Klair Kailash but it was already very late by then and Austria were well on their way to a big win.
Overall, it's been another great game of cricket here in the ECI t10 series and Austria are looking unstoppable at the moment. Malta have been good with the bat but they've struggled with the ball and they need to find ways to pick up wickets and capitalize on key moments in the game. They will have their chance again as these two teams face off against each other, in the next fixture of the day.

Right so, Malta have ended up with 110 and they will be really happy with their batting effort here! They got off to a flyer in the powerplay with both their openers , Patankar and Bastiansz getting off to good starts. The latter managed to top score with 35. They did loose some wickets in the middle order and lost their way, however Fanyan Mughal played a crucial cameo at the back end and got able support from Affy Khan who did his bit.
The Austria had an off day as they couldn't really make use of the opportunities that they got. They failed to capitalize on the key moments, especially at the back end, when Malta were struggling but they decided to go with the leggie in the final over and it cost them 20 runs. Umair Tariq was the pick of the bowlers for them as he ended up with a three wicket haul. Zadran was good too as he bowled the most the economical spell.
111 is a really good score and this will be an uphill chase for the Austrian side. However we've have seen funny things happen in cricket and one can't rule them out just yet. They've got some big hitters in their line up and they will be looking at them to help them get over the line.
