Marsa beat the American University of Malta by 60 runs. Niraj Khanna 48* (25) | Faisal Mahrose 2-13 Muhammad Suleman 42 (16) | Noman Mehar 1-9
The truth of the matter is that AUM never really looked like they were in the chase, and this will hurt them deeply. Their batters need to look at themselves in the mirror and question themselves as to why they threw their wickets away so senselessly.
Marsa bowled in good areas, and a lot of credit has to be given to the likes of Faisal Mahrose and Venkatesh Pakalapati, as they kept the AUM inning to a tight leash. Marsa will have to thank Niraj Khanna and Muhammad Suleman for their solid batting performance as well.
For AUM, there were not a lot of highlights or positives to take away from this game, but they will try their best to ensure that they come back into their other games in the tournament with some more positivity. As it turned out, this was quite an easy and comfortable win for Marsa.

9.6 Fanyan Mughal to Mohit Panchal, ANOTHER RUN OUT! Full on middle, played inside out straight towards cover point. The non-striker keeps on running but Mohit Panchal is not at all interested.
Abhishek Kuntala, RHB, is at the crease.
9.5 Fanyan Mughal to Gaurav Joshi, length on middle and leg, heaved in the air towards long on. A bit of overthrow entices Joshi for a triple but he gets run out on that occasion.
