That's all from our side. This is Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of Bidipto Datta. See you soon.
Sophie Day has been adjudged the Player of the Match! Here is what she has to say.
Sophie Day: I worked on bowling at different phases of the innings and watched a lot of other successful left-arm spinners go about their work. (On whether there is competition going on between her skipper and her to finish with most wickets for the side) I would actually love both Annabel Sutherland and me to finish on top of the wickets tally for the team!
Brisbane Heat Women 141/7 in 20 overs Amelia Kerr 36(34)| Sophie Day 3/16 Georgia Redmayne 32(33) | Annabel Sutherland 2/33
The Melbourne Stars have pulled a rabit out of the hat here at the Junction Oval and they've clinched this nail biter quite comfortably in the end by 15 runs. They remained unfazed in the final five overs despite the onslaught by the batters and managed to defend 50 runs successfully since they gave away only 35 runs.
The batters started things off with a bang for the Brisbane Heat as Redmayne and Harris got them off to a flyer in the powerplay. They raced off to 36 runs but from there the going got difficult for them as they lost a couple of wickets. Redmayne was soild earlier on for her knock of 32 runs but she was dismissed at the wrong time for them.
The middle order put up some fight as Amelia Kerr and Mignon du Preez put on a partnership. The duo stabilized the ship and took on the bowling scoring the odd boundary here and there. They kept the Heat in the hunt till the end of the power surge when they needed to get around 10 runs per over. However, once they had been dismissed off back to back overs it was always going to an uphill task for the Heat and they surrendered meekly in the end.
Sophie Day was once again the star of the show with the ball in hand for the Melbourne Stars and she just can't stop picking up wickets in this years competition. She got three today and was ably assisted by Annabel Sutherland who managed to pick up a couple of wickets and bowled an inspired spell. A word of appreciation is also due for Sasha Moloney as she gave away just 19 runs from her spell.
Melbourne Stars Women win by 15 runs.

19.6 Sasha Moloney to Mikayla Hinkley, MELBOURNE STARS WOMEN GET THE JOB DONE! Short and wide outside off-stump. Hinkley went across her stumps to try and slam it over the on-side but all she could do was slap it to wide mid-off for a single.
19.5 Sasha Moloney to Nicola Hancock, good length off-break on off-stump. A reverse shot this time to the left of short third man for a single.
19.4 Sasha Moloney to Mikayla Hinkley, full and flat on leg-stump. A miss of the heave over mid-wicket but only a leg-bye gets taken to silly mid-off!
Nicola Hancock, RHB, comes to the crease.
Moloney uses her presence of mind to run out Voll at the non strikers end and they're almost home now. This has been a remarkable turnaround.
19.3 Sasha Moloney to Mikayla Hinkley, RUN OUT AT THE BOWLER'S END! Good length ball around off-stump. Slapped straight back to the bowler who did really well to turn around and knock the bails over when Voll was not quite back in her crease!
Georgia Voll run out (Sasha Moloney ) 9(6b, 0x4, 0x6)
