Right so, that brings the curtain's on what has been a historic day at the ECS here! The Badalona Shaheen have struggled so far in the tournament, but they've been unbelievable today! First they set the record for the highest successful chase batting second and then in this game they went absolutely berserk from the first ball. They scored 230 batting first courtesy a brilliant 101 from Mati Ur Rehman and a 58 from Khizar Ali. Although their bowler's weren't up to the mark, the batsmen were just too good and have given them a lot to cheer.
For the Men in Blue, it's high time for them to sit back and reflect on their bowling! Their bowler's have been really below par and have undone the great work done by their batsman. Chasing 230 was going to be an improbable task, but Snehith Reddy and Surya Balu batted out of their skins to take them to 174/1 in 10 over's.
Overall, an unbelievable day of cricket at the ECS and the Badalona Shaheen are well and truly back in the tournament!
