A thrilling end to the match. It wasn't an easy pitch and the target of 96 proved to be a tough ask for the Unity. Yusuf Pathan got rid of Patel in the very first over and Chris Gayle's snail-like approach didn't help the team's cause.

When they needed someone to play a blistering cameo, Pienaar stepped in and met the demands and expectations of the team. Until the halfway stage the game was nicely poised but Pienaar took on Panesar and smashed him for 22 runs. The damage was done in that over, and despite RP Singh and Barnwell controlling things at the back end and made things difficult for the opposition, it didn't stop Unity from crossing the finish line
