So, that will be all from the Multan-leg of the tournament but stay tuned for the second game of the day, coming to you live from Lahore in an hour's time from now i.e., 7:00 pm local time (7:30 pm IST). This is the pair of Rudransh and Bidipto taking your leave. Keep following Sportskeeda!
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans captain): We cannot be satisfied. Yes we are happy with this win but we are not satisfied. We need to improve on all three areas and get better with every game. All the players are performing their roles to perfection but a lot of work is still to be done. Multan has given us a lot of support in every game here, so, we thank each and everyone who has come out and cheered for us!
Mohammad Ali is the Player of the Match! Here is what he has to say.
Mohammad Ali: I'm trying to get better with every match and keep it simple on the whole. I will give a lot of credit to 4-day cricket for my improvement as a bowler, it covers for all bases. Loved the support here in Multan, will miss that going forward!
It is time for the post-match presentation!
Rilee Rossouw: Great game, Multan played better than us on the day. We'll see them again. Credit goes to Shane Watson who has changed things around. We have the momentum hopefully we'll carry on. We were in the game till the last five overs. Pretty happy with the way I am striking the ball. Disappointing with how I got out. Well done to Ali.
David Willey: Great to get the win. It was the top of the table clash so very important. Thanks for the supporters. I have a sore knee so I was wondering whether if I'll be able to get there (the catch)! I just try to do the basics right constantly. It's a great franchise, everyone has contributed at different stages. We can hopefully continue.
Multan Sultans win by 13 runs!
Reeza Hendricks 72 (47) | Mohammad Ali - 3/19 (4) Khawaja Nafay 36 (31) | Mohammad Amir - 2/46 (4)
Quetta Gladiators maintained a good tempo to this run chase for most parts but up front, and towards the end, slipped big time! Those two slips cost them the match.
Khawaja Nafay and Rilee Rossouw were impressive with their aggressive approach but the other batters did not quite put up their hands to do the job, even after getting starts.
From the bowling side of things, Mohammad Ali was simply superb! He bowled with a lot of hostility and gave away precious little. David Willey, Aftab Ibrahim and Usama Mir were among the wickets as well and overall, it was a neat effort in the field from Multan. Just that the over rate was disappointing, once again.
The pitch played really well right through the match and the venue, Multan, provided for a lot of entertainment! The support right through this leg of the tournament was wonderful!
With this victory, Multan go top of the table with 8 points from 5 games while Quetta stay on 6 points from 4 matches.

19.6 Aftab Ibrahim to Abrar Ahmed, KNOCKS OVER THE OFF-STUMP! Gets it nice and full on the off-stump, Abrar makes room to push it but misses and it's just you-miss-I-hit. Big win for the Sultans!
Abrar Ahmed b Aftab Ibrahim 12 (6b, 1x4, 1x6)
19.5 Aftab Ibrahim to Abrar Ahmed, full and angling into the batter, he makes room to cart it through third man and the ball sneaks between the leg stump and his bat
