Update 10:50 PM IST: Still no good news, folks. It is raining at the ground and the match is yet to begin.
Update 10:15 PM IST: We crossed the thirty-minute mark at 10:10 PM Indian Standard Time, which means that we have started losing overs now. We will lose an over every four minutes that go by. As of now, we have lost one over.
Aaron Finch: It is wonderful to play this format of the game, and it is nice to bring it to audiences here in the USA. I think they will enjoy us playing as this is a new format, and not a lot is known about it. I am really excited about this. Would love to get some runs as well!
Update 9:32 PM IST: Unfortunate news as the rain has come back again and is haltering the event. Fingers crossed on the climatic conditions. We are not losing any time at the moment. We will start to lose overs from 10:10 PM IST.
Suresh Raina (California Knights Captain): Definitely would have bowled first. I have played before in Abu Dhabi, the T10, I belive brings a lot of quality players. We have Finch, we have Peter Siddle, we have Jacques Kallis, In addition, we also have quality Caribbean players. We have seen the West Indies vs India series. T10, you have to play good cricket and then good to go.
Gautam Gambhir (New Jersey Legends): We are going to bowl first. It’s a pretty straight decision. With the rain being around, we are not sure how the wicket is going to play. So we are going to asses the conditions first Yes, this is the first time I am playing this format. We have some exciting players to look out.
