Nitish Rana (Noida Super Kings captain): Have always tried to make sure that I finish the match whenever I'm out in the middle and today was no different. I will give the credit for the performance so far to the team management which has done really well in making the players gel really well together. Almas Shaukat and I have done well together as we have nullified the false strokes to as much as possible. Hopefully, these wins keep coming for us.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the man of the match: The teams which are dependent on all five bowlers can do well. I am trying my best to tell them what to do on which wicket but it's there contribution too. If you plan and bowl, it might not give short term benefit and might go wrong sometimes but it gives a lot of long-term benefit.
Akshdeep Nath (Kanpur Superstars captain): We should have bowled better. Their bowlers did so much better between 10th-16th over. Our strategy to Nitish was to bowl in the right areas and we kept him down for a long time but he showed his experience to be cautious at the start and then take it over.
Noida Super Kings win by 8 wickets with 1 over to spare!
There was one thing absolutely clear from the Noida Super Kings with the bat and that was the intent to score runs! They did not want to leave it late at any stage and kept on pressing for the runs, either by going for fours and sixes or by running hard between the wickets.
Yes they also had luck on their side today, but, as they say, fortune favours the brave! They were able to finish things off with 6 deliveries remaining.
Almas Shaukat and Samarth Singh gave their team a strong start and then came captain Nitish Rana whose batting shone out bright today! His tempo and the sheer will to dominate the bowling proved to be too much for the Kanpur Superstars bowling.
He brought up his 3rd half-century for the tournament and got good support from Shaukat who also brought up his fifty.
Rishabh Rajput was the pick of the bowlers for Kanpur and his efforts almost made the match interesting! Off the second last ball of the 19th over, Nitish Rana offered an opportunity at short third man with 10 runs to go. But, Prashant Chaudhary made a mess of it and gave away a boundary.
That was enough for the Noida skipper not to wait any longer and finish it off with a six! They are now on 10 points at firmly on top of the table. Kanpur have a lot of work to do now as they stay on 4 points after 6 games.

18.6 Vineet Panwar to Nitish Rana, SIX! ALL OVER! THAT SUMS UP THIS MATCH! Rana goes inside out over point this time, the fielder from fine leg runs in but gives up on the catch halfway and sees the ball go over the boundary! Noida Super Kings win by eight wickets!
Oh no! Oh no! That should have been caught Prashant, no excuses please!
18.5 Vineet Panwar to Nitish Rana, FOUR! THAT'S THE MATCH DROPPED! THE BOWLER IS LIVID! It's full and pacy outside the off-stump, Rana tries to go inside out over covers but gets an outside edge that goes to the third man fielder who doesn't reach it but sticks his hand out and the ball goes through him to the boundary!
Nitish Rana is in a league of his own at the minute!
