Vinay Ravi and Ahmadullah Shinwari started off very well for Norway with the ball but couldn't quite bag the wickets which would have been essential if they had to defend the score. Chikkanaiah Abdul Stanikzai shared a 34 runs opening partnership which got Germany going. In the middle overs, Norway couldn't quite chalk the run flow as Shoaib Khan went into a frenzy and smashed a scintillating 49 off just 15 deliveries.
Shoaib Khan was at his imperious best as he kept smacking the Norway bowlers to all corners of the ground. Norway had a chance till the 5yth over but once Shoaib took the onus on himself to do the job, it was a bridge too far for Norway. He smashed a couple of fours and 6 sixes during his blistering knock and ensured Germany qualified for the final with two overs remaining.
Shoaib Khan has literally killed in the game in three deliveries. Exceptional hitting as Germany win with two overs to spare. A commendable run-chase which promised to be a trickier one but it was some lusty by Shoaib Khan which takes Germany over the finishing line.
