MATCH OVER!
Yorkshire won by eight runs!
Yorkshire 182/7 (20) Nottinghamshire 174/4 (20)
Alex Hales 53 (35) | Colin Munro 46 (41)
David Wiese 4-0-32-2 | Jordan Thompson 4-0-33-1
Terrific all-round performance from Yorkshire as they sneak a valuable away win at Trent Bridge. The batting line-up led by Dawid Malan did well to post 182/7 but Yorkshire still had to bowl well considering the short boundaries and flat nature of the track here.
Defending 183 for victory, Yorkshire got off to a fine start with David Wiese removing Joe Clarke in the second over. The experienced duo of Alex Hales and Colin Munro came together to stitch a partnership but the latter struggled to accelerate. Munro's struggle meant that the asking rate remained high and that paid off with the big scalp of Hales in the 13th over as Wiese struck once more. The promising Matthew Montgomery came in and cracked a few hits to the fence to keep Nottinghamshire alive in the chase. However, there was no support at the other end with Munro eventually holing out in the deep off Jordan Thompson's bowling in the 16th over.
Tom Moores was sent in at No.5 but the wicket-keeper batsman struggled similarly to Munro. This meant that Montgomery was starved of strike and he eventually departed in the penultimate over. Nottinghamshire required 20 off the final over and Lyndon James made the contest slightly interesting with a six off the third delivery as the equation came down to 12 off 4. However, Thompson held his nerve and closed out the game to help Yorkshire register an eight-run victory.

19.6 Jordan Thompson to Tom Moores, slow delivery slanting across off, Moores swings hard but only connects the fresh air. The Vikings register their first win in this tournament
19.5 Jordan Thompson to Tom Moores, fuller delivery on leg-stump, Moores drills it hard and it goes inches wide of Thompson's head as he lost balance and went down. The fielder at long-on slides to his right and keeps them down to two
19.4 Jordan Thompson to Lyndon James, juicy full toss, James bends low and tries to swipe this across but gets hit on a thigh pad. They scramble across for a leg-bye
19.3 Jordan Thompson to Lyndon James, SIX! Pitched up on a fuller length, James covers the line and smokes it over long-on for a maximum. 12 needed from 3 now
19.2 Jordan Thompson to Tom Moores, goes fuller outside leg-stump, Moores swings across but the ball spears his pads. His struggle continues and 18 needed in the final four deliveries
19.1 Jordan Thompson to Lyndon James, goes full on off-stump, James turns it down to short fine leg for a single
Nine runs and a wicket off the penultimate over. So, Nottinghamshire will need 20 off the last six balls with Jordan Thompson set to bowl
