140 proving to be way too much for Oeiras to track down in the end, falling short by 23 runs. They lost three wickets in the powerplay and were pushed on the backfoot right from the start of the chase. They did score runs but they just could not keep up with the rate, playing catch up for most of their innings.
Ranjit Narayan with his 47 and skipper Jiteshkumar with his 36 did try and keep them in the hunt but those early wickets and a slow start made it difficult for them eventually. Couple of wickets Nazmul Hasan and Mohammed Asad, that were the only four wickets to fall in the innings.
A good bowling effort from them, winning both their games of the day, which will give them momentum going ahead in the tournament. Disappointing effort from Oeiras and as we saw, poor fielding has cost both the teams in the last two games today.
That is it from this game for the day then. More ECS action coming your way as look forward to your company for the same when we get back tomorrow. Until then, this has been Rishab and Maanas taking your leave. Have a good night!
That is that then! Friendship CC winning the game comfortably by 23 runs in the end as Oeiras fold for 117.4 in the end. A good effort but just not good enough for them in the end!

Mohammad Asad-I
9.6 Mohammad Asad to Parth Jounjat, short and on the middle stump spinning in, Jounjat pulls that to the left of the deep backward square leg fielder for a single.
9.5 Mohammad Asad to Parth Jounjat, full ball on the fourth stump line fired in, Jounjat jams that out into the leg side. No run on offer there!
9.4 Mohammad Asad to Ranjit Narayan, OUT! CAUGHT! Tossed up delivery on the fourth stump line, entices Narayan into playing the big shot. Cannot get it off the meat of the bat and straight down the throat of the fielder patrolling the long off fence!
9.3 Mohammad Asad to Jiteshkumar Balkrisna, tossed up delivery on the middle stump, JB chips that down to long on for a single.
9.2 Mohammad Asad to Jiteshkumar Balkrisna, FOUR! Poor fielding! Length ball on the off stump, JB pulls that to the right of long on, who fails to stop that cleanly and lets it through to the fence!
9.1 Mohammad Asad to Ranjit Narayan, tossed up delivery on the middle stump, slogged towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
Looks like this should be the game for Friendship CC now, unless they get a magical finish in the final over, that looks highly unlikely as well. 31 off the last 6 and Friendship CC on the verge of another win!
