Georgia Redmayne (Hero of the Match, 53* off 47 balls): We bowled really well and kept them to a manageable score. It's nice kind of knowing what score to chase and how to do it, and I guess that has helped me right through the tournament. Even though I have a bruise on my right hand, I should be fine for tomorrow! I think we need to take it easy for tomorrow. We have the confidence to do it, and we need to do the simple things right tomorrow.
London Spirit-W win by 8 wickets with 9 balls to spare!
Georgia Redmayne 53* (47) | Charlotte Dean - 3/24 Alice Capsey 30 (33) | Marizanne Kapp - 1/19
The positive approach right from the start, the will to pick up runs every ball and a little bit of luck with the drop catches has given us our second finalist of the season!
London Spirit were in charge of the chase as both openers, Georgia Redmayne and Meg Lanning, got them off to a strong start. Marizanne Kapp did eventually pick up the wicket of the former Australian captain. And the spinners also got into their groove to try and stem the flow of runs.
But, after a slight stutter, the duo of skipper Heather Knight and Redmayne both steadied the ship and picked up pace! They made sure that nothing got left late. The boundaries kept coming and the dot balls got minimized.
The worst fielding display from Oval Invincibles came in the Eliminator with as many as four chances grasped. In such an important match, such display of fielding is ill-affordable and it cost them a place in the final!
18.1 Alice Capsey to Georgia Redmayne, FOUR! SPIRIT WIN AND ADVANCE INTO THE FINALS! Length delivery outside the off stump, Redmayne times that one to perfection and bisects the gap with surgical precision, sending it racing to the fence for a boundary and also winning the game by 8 wickets. They take on Welsh Fire Women tomorrow at Lord, their home and the Home of Cricket!
Alice Capsey continues from the other end now.
Right, this may not take long for the Spirit. Redmayne will want to finish things off in the very next delivery here!

17.5 Alice Capsey to Heather Knight, full and outside the off stump. Knight plays it towards point for a dot ball to end the set
