That's all from our side then! We had an erratic second half on account of some technical issues that we faced with our streaming partners. But we hope you enjoyed our coverage of this ECS Malta game between Mater Dei and Overseas. This is Soumarya Dutta, signing off on behalf of my partner Arya. Buh-bye and see you soon!
Overseas 73/5 in 10 overs David Marks 19(15)| George Widdop 17(10) Pintu Ghosh 2/14 | Muhammad Zubair 1/15
Right so, that was an emphatic win for Mater Dei ! They have thoroughly dominated Overseas with both bat and the ball here. Batting first Mater Dei put on a massive 135 courtesy both their openers. Azeem Sathi in particular was at his destructive best as he scored 73 of just 36 balls. For Overseas David Marks had a decent day with both bat and ball in an otherwise dismal outing for his side. For Mater Dei, Pintu Ghosh starred with the ball again and continued with his great form. Overall an incredible victory for Mater Dei against a good side and they will be on a high moving into the quarterfinals tomorrow.
End of the innings here. Overseas end with a paltry 73/5 in 10 overs.
Only a formality for Mater Dei now. Overseas have hardly had any momentum here and have lost half their side already. They are reeling at 58/5.
We are again having issues with the match streaming from the streaming partner. Apologies for the inconvenience.
George Widdop, RHB, is the new man in.
7.3 Pintu Ghosh to David Millard, Pintu Ghosh hits the bullseye. On a fuller-length around the off-stump channel. Gets his radar bang on and Millard swings across the line blindly only to miss it and see his stumps getting clattered.
7.2 Pintu Ghosh to Jurg Hischi, yorker-length delivery on the stumps and that has been jammed away towards the on side for a single.
7.1 Pintu Ghosh to David Millard, on a length around middle. Millard gets it away towards the midwicket region and takes a single.
Pintu Ghosh, Right arm Medium, is back into the attack.
Mater Dei have bowled brilliantly here. They have hardly given anything away and Overseas batter's have struggled to get going. Just 3 overs remaining here and Mater Dei are looking set for a huge victory.
