The dream has been diminished for the Paris Knight Riders and they have fallen short by just 14 runs in the end. They were in the contest for the large part of it but in the end , they ran out of steam due to those wickets. They didn't have any big hitters left in the last two overs of the game when they needed more than 30.
Waheed Ahmadzai was the star batter for the PKR as he held the innings together for the greater part of it and kept them in the game for as many as seven overs. Erfan Talach made a quick fire 14 but the rest of the batters couldn't convert their starts to big knocks which proved to be the undoing for them.
The spinners did superbly for the PXI as the duo of Stanikzay and Dawood Ahmadzai picked up four wickets between themselves. Zaheer Zahiri did extremely well at the death as he gave away only 9 runs from the final over of the innings.

9.6 Zaheer Zahiri to Shakeel Ahmad, on a fullish-length a shade outside off, swing and a miss to end the match as President XI wins by 14 runs.
9.5 Zaheer Zahiri to Shakeel Ahmad, SIX! That' a great shot from Shakeel, a full toss around the knee height, swiped across the line and comfortably clears the deep midwicket fence.
9.4 Zaheer Zahiri to Faridon Khpalwak, fuller around middle, chipped away towards long-on for a single.
And with that wicket the chances of Paris of winning this game is all but over! Faridon Khpalwak, RHB, comes to the crease.
